Our sustainable Ethos

a natural, sustainable perfume that harnesses the power of plants

We set up Jones & Modha because we felt strongly about how difficult it is to find a beautifully blended, sophisticated perfume that is made from 100% naturally derived ingredients and no synthetic chemicals. Simply put, we wanted a beautiful, clean, natural perfume.

What does Jones & Modha no.1 natural fragrance smell like? It’s a light, bright, green evening breeze, uplifting, with the scent of citrus trees and cut leaves, settling into the warmth of woody greenness and sensuous spice.

Perfume has moved so far away from its origins where natural plant alchemy created small batches of pure formulations, working with nature to delight users. Plant derived pure plant and flower oils react with the natural oils in your skin, making Jones & Modha unique to you.

We only use natural essential oils and naturally derived ingredients in our perfumes. We work hard at being honest and transparent in our marketing and wording by listing our ingredients clearly. We want you to know that we set out to create a natural, sustainable perfume and did just that.

Environmental impact

We work with partners that have the same ethos as us: that nature should be enjoyed and not exploited.

We work hard to ensure packaging of our natural perfume is simple and minimal, can be recycled as much as possible.

We minimise travel and use of fossil fuels.

2.5% of profits from our natural perfume will be donated to charities that benefit the environment. We hope to increase this as we become more established.

People

We believe all people should be treated with respect. Full stop. We do not tolerate or accept any other treatment. Our natural perfume is gender free and for the enjoyment of all.

Local

Our non synthetic, natural perfume is made in Somerset in the West of England in small batches, our office and designers are in Bristol.

“I love this perfume. Fresh, clean and lasts all day (usually any smell from a perfume is gone by the afternoon...well on me anyway). Seems like a brand with sound values and a good ethos. I love the spirit - classy and ethical. Yup- I definitely recommend.
And my husband nicks it too...” Jacks Bennett
